10 Years in Northwest Arkansas

Northwest Arkansas has long been defined by its backdrop -- a landscape of lush hills and fall foliage, home to the Ozark Trail, the University of Arkansas and Walmart’s home offices. We’ve seen a lot of changes over the past ten years and quite a few additions to the buildings nestled in these Ozark mountain towns.

The Pinnacle Hills Promenade opened its doors in 2006, adding more than 100 retailers to the Rogers area. And we’d be remiss not to mention Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which has sparked a new wave of cultural influences and national attention to the area since opening in 2011.

And this year, on May 2nd, the Northwest Arkansas community celebrated the opening of the Razorback Regional Greenway, a 15-year project that promises to connect our area in new and interesting ways. And for Steve Fineberg & Associates, connecting with people is what it’s all about.

Ida Remembers

The agency opened in 2005, but the seed for the business was planted in the early 90s. "We were driving around. It was ‘94 or ‘95, and Steve said, ‘You know, this area looks like it’s about to burst.’ And he was right!"

Today NWA is stronger than ever before, but in 2008 when the housing market crashed, we had a very serious test of our metal. Three years after starting Steve Fineberg & Associates, the agency was focused on helping the community pick up the pieces of the housing market crash.

"The recession was bigger than all of us," Ida recounts. "There were a lot of people who were in difficult circumstances, and our job became making a positive out of what was one of the hardest times in many people’s lives."

Great Businesses & Great People

Even with all of the changes in the NWA area, the most important things have stayed the same for us. Relationships. Integrity. Honesty.

From the very beginning, we’ve taken client relationships very seriously. With more resources, customers today are savvier than they once were, which has only heightened the standards for real estate agents. We strive to better ourselves consistently to offer enjoyable experiences to our clients, not only in education and professionalism, but with positivity and support.

We understand that life has stressful moments. Luckily, we’re real estate agents seasoned for those high intensity situations. We’ll still be doing the same old thing -- growing our client base and building our relationships. We also hope to grow our company and add more agents. But for now, we’re just humbled and grateful to look over the past ten years; and we hope you will all come share in the celebration with us.
