This week we took our taste buds to the heart of downtown Bentonville and rode in to Pedaler’s Pub. Pedaler’s Pub opened in July 2014 and is conveniently located just off of the Bentonville bike trails. In recent years, Bentonville has become a premier destination for all things trails related in Northwest Arkansas. Initiatives like bike Bentonville have positioned Bentonville as a family friendly wellness destination.
Pedaler’s Pub owner, Kevin Bennoch, was inspired to open a restaurant that married his love of cycling and great food in a family friendly atmosphere. Located at 410 SW A Street, Pedaler’s Pub is in a converted granite cutting shop and shares a complex with Bike Rack Brewery and Bike Bentonville.
Pedaler’s Pub was designed as a starting and stopping place for cyclists to grab some good eats and drinks while enjoying the downtown Bentonville area.
Best known for their mouth-watering, wood-fired specialty pies, Pedaler’s Pub proves it ain’t your everyday pizza joint. All of their pizzas are made with fresh, local ingredients and enable diners to enjoy unique flavors from across the region. The Arkie made with Petit Jean ham, portabella mushrooms, and fresh jalapeño peppers on a plum tomato base is a fan favorite and doesn’t disappoint. The kitchen has an open design so diners can see their meal prepared and fully experience the wood-fired cooking style. They are open Tuesday-Sunday from 11 to 11 with live entertainment every Thursday night. There are plans to provide live entertainment on their outdoor patio all throughout the summer.
Pedaler’s Pub is just the latest in a long line of specialty restaurants opening throughout Northwest Arkansas and has seen great success. If you feel like hitting the trails, make sure the pub is your first pit stop.
