Our Experience at NWA Championship Week

There are a few events you just have to go to when they come to town and NWA Championship is one of them. This year the whole office got together for different events and to enjoy the festivities. We did lots of eating, a little running, and a pretty good amount of golf clapping. It was so much fun and experiencing it as an office made it all the better!

Bite NWA

BITE NWA is a 3-night event that residents and visitors look forward to every year. Who doesn’t love a food festival? Each night at BITE is a different theme focused on highlighting restaurants and cuisines here in NWA and around the world! The three different nights are called BITE | SPARK, BITE | DISCOVER, and BITE | CRAFT. We attended BITE | SPARK and had a great time tasting all the food from local vendors. The theme of the night was sparking your tastes with flavor from around the world. The event taking place before the 5K wasn’t ideal for our running times but that’s a sacrifice we were willing to make.

5K @ the LPGA

This year we wanted to participate in something as an office, so we decided to do the 5K @ the LPGA Benefitting Mercy! Some of us were more excited than others but, the 5K @ the LPGA is a great cause benefiting Mercy Hospital and that helped everyone get on board. We participated in the Corporate Challenge and competed against other offices in NWA. The race has a fun course starting and ending at the Walmart Amp and winding through the Pinnacle Country Club. Some of us may still be sore but we had a blast getting an exercise in while representing Steve Fineberg & Associates!

(Steve came 3rd out of everyone in the office so for those wondering he does in fact “still have it!”)

LPGA Golf Tournament

After we participated in the 5K @ the LPGA, we wanted to get the full experience of NWA Championship week. We headed to the golf course to watch the LPGA professionals compete for the title. We enjoyed hanging out in the Hub479, an open-air structure on the 17thhole and experiencing the loudest hole on tour. The Walmart and #AlwaysLiveLikeAGirl STEAM Center was packed with children running around and trying out all the hands-on activities! The event always has a ton of support from the local community and this year was no exception. It is great to show that Northwest Arkansas can support big events such as this.

It was an eventful week full of exciting things to do. If you missed it this time (what were you thinking!) you have plenty of time to block it off your calendar for next year. We will be back as an office again when it rolls around in 2020 and we are hoping to improve those 5K times!

On an unrelated note if any Olympic runners have an interest in selling real estate, we could really use you!
