Located in the heart of Downtown Bentonville, the Momentary offers a space for art, music, and socializing. The building itself is considered art as it is a decommissioned cheese factory transformed into a contemporary art space. In this space you will find visual and performing arts, culinary experiences, festivals, artists-in-residence, and more.
The Momentary features temporary exhibits that rotate out over time, while there are a number of pieces to see year round. The contemporary art located throughout includes bright colors, abstract ideas, and interactive elements. You can find a list of the current and past exhibits here.
If you’re looking for a place to grab drinks or snacks, the Momentary has many options. The Rode Bar is an outdoor bar serving drinks alongside the Momentary Food Truck. High above the Momentary, you will find the Tower Bar. This unique space features an exceptional view of Downtown Bentonville with specialty cocktails to go with. There is also an Onyx Coffee bar located in the Momentary (it is currently under renovation).
Live music is a big deal in Northwest Arkansas and the Momentary has an amazing lineup for the 2023 season. They will host many concerts including The Roots, Brothers Osborne, Rina Sawayama, & Wu-Tang Clan. We expect there could be more performances announced. The Momentary also hosts a two-day festival called FreshGrass | Bentonville. The festival highlights the best in bluegrass and roots music and is available to all ages. It is held on the Momentary Green with multiple stages, vendors, courtyards, and dining options. You can find more information about all of these music events here.
