NWA Schools Take Top 5 Spots in Arkansas
In April 2020, U.S. News released their annual ranking for Best High Schools in the nation. Out of 301 schools in Arkansas, Northwest Arkansas claimed the top five spots as well as four more schools ranking in the top 25. The schools are graded on different criteria such as graduation rate, college readiness, and enrollment. They collect data from more than 24,000 schools using third party sources such as The Common Core of Data from the U.S. Department of Education, the statewide math and reading level assessments, the College Boards measuring AP exams, and more.
