There is a 4 mile stretch on both sides of I-49 that is being deemed the Springdale Care Corridor. The corridor begins at exit 69 and ends at exit 73. It includes health care providers:

Children’s Safety Center
The Children’s Safety Center recently announced a $3 million donation to their Healing the Future Campaign by the J.B. and Jonelle Hunt Family. The campaign’s goal is to raise $12.5 million to support the expansion of programs. The center will be located south of Arvest Ballpark on Gene George Blvd. It’s mission is to “empower children to overcome abuse and begin to trust, hope and heal.” The new facility will be 3 times the size of their current location and will include the first, specialized therapeutic playground in the region. It will also have soundproof interview rooms, with 2-way mirrors and television feed for law enforcement, 2 medical suites, better security for staff and clients, and dedicated training and technology space. This new facility will greatly benefit the community of Washington County and offer a safe place for children and families.
