Upcoming Holiday Events in NWA
Every year, each city has some kind of holiday celebration. This year will be different, but in an effort to bring holiday cheer, the events hosted will be virtual or have modifications. Here is a list of events taking place as well as the safety guidelines in place.
Lights of the Ozarks - Fayetteville, AR
November 20 – January 1
There will be a virtual lighting on Friday, November 20th at 6pm. You can tune in and watch at 5News Online, 5 News Facebook Page, or Experience Fayetteville Facebook Page. In addition to the virtual lighting, the Fayetteville Square will be lit each night from 5pm to 1am. There will also be food trucks serving holiday treats on the square as well. Lighting of the Square - Bentonville, AR
November 20th
The Lighting of the Square will be held virtually this year on November 20th. Downtown Bentonville Inc. is working on something special to share with everyone about this holiday season. In addition to the lights on the square, Lawrence Plaza will be opened for ice skating November 21st through January 3rd.
Parade of Trees & Christmas on the Creek - Springdale, AR
November 27th – December 28th
Downtown Parade of Trees– Downtown Springdale is hosting its first-annual Parade of Trees this year. Families, businesses, and nonprofits have the opportunity to participate by sponsoring and decorating a Christmas tree. They will be lining Emma Street as surrounding areas.
November 28th 12pm-6pm
Christmas on the Creek– A Springdale holiday family tradition will take place this year on the Shiloh Square. The lighting of the tree will happen, there will be live music, as well as other family fun activities. *Masks will be required when 6ft social distancing is not achievable
