Osage Park – Bentonville, AR
The initial phases of Osage Park in Bentonville opened in late 2020. The park is located on I Street behind Thaden Field. It connected to Lake Bentonville which is also currently undergoing a renovation. The Walton Family Foundation is backing the development of Osage Park and Lake Bentonville to improve the quality of life in Northwest Arkansas.
The theme of the park is centered around aviation, art, and preservation. Here are some of the features:
- 6-acre expansion of Lake Bentonville for kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding
- Multipurpose lawn
- Aviation-themed play zone
- Pickleball courts
- Floating boardwalks
- An open pavilion and music venue
The additions and renovations taking place at Osage Park and Lake Bentonville will have a great benefit on the community. The Walton Family Foundation released findings from their Quality of Life Survey that showed parks were the most used amenities in the region. We are excited to see this area grow into another gathering space for Northwest Arkansas.
